Text or email a straight-on shot of the dial in daylight, plus a close-up of anything that concerns you. Tell us the brand and reference if you know it, and what you have in mind. Nothing needs to be shipped at this stage.
Get a quote and a plan
You get back an honest read on the dial: what can be done, what cannot, and what we would recommend — including the cases where we would tell you to leave it alone. The price comes with it, in writing.
Agree the details, then ship
Colour, indices, printing and lume are settled in writing so nothing is left to interpretation. Then we walk you through packing and shipping — usually the dial alone rather than the whole watch, which is cheaper and safer.
The bench work
Stripping and resurfacing, stone cutting and inlay, printing, index fitting, gem setting, lume — whichever of those the job calls for, in the right order, with the curing time each stage actually needs.
Checked, then returned
The finished dial is inspected under magnification and test-fitted before it goes anywhere. Then it ships back to you, insured and tracked, packed so nothing moves in transit.
How long it takes
It depends on the work and on how busy the bench is, so you get a timeframe with your quote rather than a number off a website. If you are working to a deadline, say so when you first get in touch and we will tell you straight away whether it is realistic.
